My name is Ms. Valerie Hernandez, and I am honored to have served as the principal of Lorenzo Walker Technical High School (LWTHS). LWTHS has proudly maintained its “A” rating and built a legacy of academic excellence and career readiness. While LWTHS will no longer be accepting new students, we are committed to supporting our current students as they complete their high school journey. Moving forward, students across Collier County will continue to have access to the outstanding technical programs at Lorenzo Walker Technical College through their home high schools. This change ensures that students still benefit from career and technical education—just through a different access model—while preserving opportunities to earn industry certifications and prepare for in-demand careers as they pursue their high school diplomas. We are proud of the many accomplishments of our students, staff, and community, and we look forward to seeing continued student success for our students, and those throughout the county, through this new direction.
